These photos are from a missile attack on Kyiv the day before I went on my May (2023) mission trip. A residential building was struck and the destruction was devastating. First responders, both fire and police responded over many hours to save the lives of citizens trapped in the building. Not everyone was able to evacuate to bomb shelters before the missile strike. While I was in Kyiv many more missile attacks occurred but new protection systems were in place to shoot down missiles and drone attacks.
